Almaty plans to introduce the Recommended by Visit Almaty regional standard. This was told during a press conference about measures to increase the tourist attractiveness of Almaty by the head of the Almaty Tourism Bureau Kamila Lukpanova.
According to the speaker, the program is aimed at uniting industry entities to improve the quality of services provided and increase the tourist flow. The program helps to guarantee a comfortable stay of tourists in Almaty and increase awareness of the accessible tourist infrastructure of the city.
In addition, Almaty will launch a single Almaty Pass tourist ticket, which will allow you to freely visit the sights and excursions included in the program and save up to 50% of time and money when visiting cultural and entertainment facilities of the city.
Another tourist product of the program is a tourist passport. It will be available at the Visit Almaty information centers. With the help of a passport, tourists will be able to easily navigate in Almaty (where to go, what to see), visit the main sights of the city and put marks on visiting locations.
There are also plans to create a gastro guide for Almaty – a printed version of the directory of restaurants, cafes, coffee shops in Almaty.
